Data controller

The controller for data collected on this site is ⟨TO BE COMPLETED: owner’s full name⟩, reachable at brpir@skynet.be.

What is collected, and why

The contact form collects your name, your email address, the dates you are interested in, the number of guests and the message you write.

This is used solely to answer your enquiry and, where it goes ahead, to arrange your stay. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and no marketing email is sent from this site.

Legal basis

Processing rests on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, within the meaning of article 6.1.b of the General Data Protection Regulation.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept for three years from our last contact with you, then deleted.

Recipients and processors

Your data is read only by the owner of the house. It does, however, pass through technical providers.

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, delivers the form message by email, and provides the Turnstile anti-bot check, which processes your IP address to tell a visitor from an automated program. This may involve a transfer outside the European Union, governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Map tiles are served by the OpenStreetMap Foundation: displaying a map sends your IP address to its servers.

Webfonts are served from this site, so displaying them sends nothing to any third party.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies, uses no trackers and runs no analytics. Nothing is stored in your browser. That is why you are never shown a consent banner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and the right to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, write to the contact address above.

If, having contacted us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr.
